How to factory reset Galaxy S10e
A factory reset is a method that allows you to wipe off all contents of your phone and bring all settings back to default. Needless to say, all your personal files and preferences will be deleted so make sure to create a backup of your important data prior to the reset. Once everything is set and ready, follow these steps to reset your Samsung Galaxy S10e:
- From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
- Launch Settings and scroll down to find General Management tab.
- Touch Reset and then select Factory Data Reset.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the Reset button and tap on it.
- Confirm your action by pressing the Delete all button, at which point the reset process will begin.
The reset process will only take a few seconds to complete. Your phone will then reboot once it’s done. You need to set it up like new to use it again which means you have to connect it to a network to use the internet and log into your Google account to be able to download apps from the Play Store.
