In an effort to protect the battery life of all iOS devices, Apple introduced a new feature in iOS 13 to slow down the charging process. Your phone will automatically stop charging when the battery life hits 80% but still act as if it is 100%. Then continues to charge when the system detects your phone activities or when you are about to use your phone. If in case this feature has been enabled on your phone without your knowing, simply disable the feature to speed up the charging again. Here is how:

  1. From Home, go to Settings.
  2. Tap Battery.
  3. Select Battery Health option.
  4. Scroll down to and tap on Optimized Battery Charging option.
  5. Then select Turn Off option to disable the feature.

Once this feature has been disabled, the charging of your iPhone will speed up again. To check if your phone is already charging faster, connect your iPhone to its original charger and plug to the power outlet.

Fourth solution: Manage the apps and delete bad apps

Some apps may consume huge amount of power which will result for your battery to drain quickly. Thus, your phone will take longer time to get fully charged when these apps are running. Since this method causes permanent data loss, a back-up for your important files would be necessary. This process also requires your phone to have at least 50% battery life so if needed; you can connect your phone to the charger while doing the reset. Once the important files are secured and your phone is already connected to the charger, follow these steps to carry out full system restore:
