There are many ways to share files between smartphones and other mobile devices. Email, cloud, external devices and wireless sharing are just among the widely used methods. In this tutorial, I will demonstrate the most common file sharing method that many smartphone users are utilizing. Read on to find out how to share photos from Galaxy S20.

Steps to Share Photos from Galaxy S20

The following steps depict a file sharing process using Bluetooth technology. That said, you will need to have a Bluetooth device as the target or destination of the photo from your Galaxy S20. Before you proceed, be sure to make Bluetooth enabled on your Galaxy S20 and target Bluetooth device. Also, your devices must be paired already. Once you’ve met all the requirements for Bluetooth file sharing, you may proceed with these lined up steps.
- Tap Gallery from the Home screen to get started.
This will open the Gallery folder containing all saved videos and images taken with the phone's camera.
- Select the photo(s) that you'd like to share. Just tap on the photo to select.
A check mark will be visible on the selected photo(s). You may need to tap on the quick Menu icon (three-dots) then select Edit to make multiple selections.
- After selecting the photo(s), tap the Share icon at the bottom of the display.
The sharing icon is located beneath the screen along with other three controls or icons for favorites, edit, and delete.
- On the next screen, you will be prompted with different sharing methods. Just scroll down and tap to select the sharing method you'd like to use. Steps may vary slightly based on what you choose.
To continue with this guide, we'll use Bluetooth so tap Bluetooth to continue.
- On the Select device screen, go to the Available devices section then select a device to pair with your Galaxy S20.
Make sure that the device you're sending the photos to has Bluetooth enabled, visible, turned on, and is placed near your Galaxy S20 or within the specified Bluetooth range.

After selecting the target Bluetooth device, the photo(s) will be sent automatically. Just follow the rest of the onscreen prompts to complete the sharing process.
