Your iPhone 14 Pro has a feature that prevents apps and other services from running. It’s called Downtime and it’s one of the features you can enable under Screen Time.
When Downtime is enabled, only app that you choose to allow and phone calls will be available. So everything else won’t work the way they should. Downtime can help you have a peaceful time, which many of us need.

You can easily enable it anytime you want and you can also automate it so that it will be enabled and disabled at the time you specify.
Here’s how it’s done:
Go back to the Home Screen and then tap Settings.
This will open the Settings app that allows you to change most of the features in your device.Find and tap Screen Time.
This will show you several features that you can use to limit a service or an app.Find and tap Downtime.
This will bring you to the screen where you can read more about the feature as well as enable or set up a schedule for it.To turn on the service immediately, tap Turn On Downtime Until Tomorrow.
It will enable Downtime just until midnight. It will be disabled automatically.If you want to automate it, tap the switch next to Scheduled.
More options will be enabled after that.By default, Every Day is selected.
In most cases, this is enough.Edit the start and end times of Downtime.
By default, it’s enabled from 10 PM until 7 AM and you might also just want to follow that schedule. Otherwise, change it to your liking.If you want to choose specific days for Downtime to be enabled, tap Customize Days.
Now go through each day and edit the start and end times.Go back to the previous page and tap Always Allowed.
In this screen, you will be able to choose the apps you want to be allowed to work during downtime.Scroll down to find the apps you want to allow and tap the Plus sign next to it.
They will then be added to the list of Allowed Apps at the top.To disallow an app, just tap the minus sign next to it.
It will then be transferred to the list below.
