When to use Adaptive Power saving?

Bumping into battery draining issues in mobile devices is inevitable. If this happens to your Galaxy Flip smartphone, then you can utilize some of its inbuilt battery-saving modes to limit its battery usage and make its charges last longer.

One of these features is the Adaptive Power saving. When activated, it helps save your device’s battery life by preventing seldom-used apps from running and utilizing power.

But the main downside is that your phone’s performance and background app activity may be reduced when you enable adaptive battery. That said, only activate this feature when needed.

Cannot enable Adaptive power saving?

You won’t be able to use the Adaptive power saving function if the power saving option to Limit apps and Home screen is enabled.

Should this be the case, you will need to head back to the Power saving menu then toggle to turn off the switch next to Limit apps and Home screen.

  • Just head over to Settings-> Battery and device care-> Battery-> Power saving menu on your phone. The option to Limit apps and Home screen is located at the bottom section of the Power saving menu of your phone.

Turning this feature OFF, remove the limits imposed on all background activity and apps for maximum power saving. It likewise allows you to use Automation for Adaptive Power saving.

And that’s how you enable the Adaptive Power Saving option on the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphone.
