TikTok app offers various ways in changing your username. Shown below is the easiest way to do it. Read further.
- Launch the TikTok app from your Home screen.
Swipe left or right to find the app.
- Once logged in, select Me from the main menu.
This is located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Edit profile
You can find this button at the middle part of the screen.
- Then select Username.
This menu option is next to Name.
- Tap to delete your username and enter a new one, then tap Save at the top-right corner of the screen.

For security reasons, TikTok only allows users to change their username every after 30 days from the last time it was changed. In case you have mis-typed the username or it is not the one you wish to use, then you need to wait for another 30 days to have it modified.
Thus, there are some ways users can override this restriction. One effective way of revoking this rule is to change your phone’s Date & Time settings. For iPhone users, simply head to Settings -> Date & Time, then change the date a month advanced. Then you can go ahead and change your TikTok username again.
