If you want to block messages on LG G6, open your Messaging app from the home screen. Select the desired message. Tap Menu and select Block number > Block. Just tap the back arrow once done as it will save the action automatically.
Blocking messages could be necessary depending on the situation. If you don’t want to hear or receive any message from a specific number, simply block them. If you are receiving spam messages, you can also block that number and avoid any disturbances.

- Open your Messaging app.
- Tap on your menu button then tap Settings.
- Tap on Message blocking.
- Here is where you can manage your blocking preferences for messages. The Blocked box is where all your blocked messages will end up.
You can block unknown numbers by simply turning on the toggle.
You can block specific words through Word filter that will forward the message into your Blocked box. - Tap on Blocked Numbers to block all messages from a specific number or contact.
