When it comes to accessing the internet from our smartphones, most users prefer to utilize WiFi over mobile data. Hence, users will have no choice but to use mobile data whenever WiFi service is unavailable.  Mobile data should work without any problem as long as cellular network signal is stable and allotted data subscription is still sufficient. Yet, relevant factors may halt the service to quit working as intended.

Possible Triggers

In order for us to come up with appropriate resolutions for the mobile data not working problem, determining the relevant factors that trigger the occurrence of the said problem is recommended. Here are the possible causes:

Random software glitches. Smartphones are vulnerable to random software glitches. And oftentimes, these glitches can be cleared out by simply restarting the devices.

Network connectivity issues. Your mobile data service relies on network stability. Intermittent or unstable signal will provide your poor to no internet connection.

Account-related. Most of the smartphones are data enabled. But mobile data access also depends on your monthly data subscription. If you’ve already used up the allotted data allowance for the month, mobile data access will then be capped by your service provider.
