You can also add another email if you’d like to set up multiple emails to use on your phone. Otherwise, head straight to your personal email’s inbox and start checking and responding to important personal emails you’ve got.
To check if everything is working as intended, try to send a sample email then send it to your own email account. If you receive the sample email, it means that it works. Otherwise, you’ll need to troubleshoot.
If you encounter any error in the email setup process and couldn’t get to set up the email on your Galaxy S20, contact your email service provider or carrier for further assistance. If necessary, you can ask them to help you set up the email manually instead.
Also ensure that your phone has a stable internet connection either through a Wi-Fi network or cellular data. An internet connection is necessary for your device to communicate and sync with the email server.
To manually set up an email account, you will need to gather all important email information including incoming server and outgoing server address, port numbers and the like. This is because you will need to enter this information manually.
