You can always customize the Secure Folder again at any time you want. Just repeat the same steps to head back to the app’s customize menu then make necessary changes to the folder’s attributes.
One of the benefits of changing the default appearance of the Secure Folder is to not make the folder somehow concealed as it doesn’t appear as it is. This therefore can make the folder unnoticeable by other people whom you grant access to your phone and thereby lowers the chances of any unauthorized access.
Aside from customizing the folder, you may also opt to hide from the Home or Apps screen so that it won’t be easily accessed through either screen.
- To hide the Secure Folder, just head over to Settings-> Biometrics & security-> Secure Folder menu then tap to turn the Add Secure Folder to the Apps screen switch OFF. Read the warning prompt to learn what happens when you disable the switch then tap Hide to confirm action.
The Secure Folder icon will then be removed from the Apps screen. To access the folder, you can use the Quick Search function of your phone.
And that’s all about resetting the Samsung Secure Folder application on the Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphone.
