Voice command is now playing a major role on smartphones. It makes life easier and more convenient. But what will you do if you have a OK Google voice command not working on Moto X? Let’s find out how to fix this problem.
Touch less experience is made possible by the creation of voice command features on smartphones. It allows you to ask your phone to do certain tasks by using your voice. Though not all commands are doable, it still adds a better experience while using your phone.
Functions like making calls, setting an alarm and making a note can be done by just asking your phone to do it for you. As long as your phone is connected to an internet like WiFi or cellular data, it should not be a problem.
But this useful functionality has been hindered by common issues such as suddenly not working or it stops working even with good internet connection. If you have a Moto X device and the OK Google voice command is not doing anything on your device, feel free to follow the simple steps provided below.
Open your “Google” app and tap on the three bars on the top left.
Select Settings >Voice >“Ok Google” Detection.
Make sure “From Google Search app” and “From any screen” are both toggled ON.
Go back <- into Voice and make sure Language is set to English (US).
If the issue persists and you still have an OK Google voice command not working on Moto X after performing those steps, you may try performing a factory reset on your device. This process usually fix a major software glitch that may have been blocking the voice command feature on your device.
