The settings you’ll make on the Phone app’s flip options don’t affect calls that are made while using Bluetooth-enabled devices and headphones.

Should you wish to disable the feature, simply toggle to turn off the switch next to individual options.

Answer/End Phone Calls from the Cover Screen

There are different ways to pick up and end calls on the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Aside from using the flip options like open phone to answer calls and close to end calls, you can answer incoming calls straight from the cover screen or by flipping the phone open.

If you’ve added the caller to the contacts app, you’ll see the name, number and/or a profile photo of the person calling you. Along with the caller’s basic info are the buttons to answer and decline/reject the call.

To answer the call, simply tap the green phone button and then drag it to the middle of the screen. The speakerphone automatically enables the moment you answer the call from the cover screen unless you’ve using a Bluetooth audio device or headset.

To decline a call, just tap the red phone button on the opposite side of the cover screen then touch the button and drag your finger towards the middle of the screen.

And that’s how you access and manage the inbuilt flip options on the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone.
