How to recover a deleted voicemail from iPhone

To recover a deleted voicemail from an iPhone, simply open the Phone app and go to the Voicemail section. Scroll down and look for Deleted Messages (it will only show if you have a deleted voicemail) then tap it. Select the message that you want to restore and tap Undelete or Restore.

Voicemail is really useful to those busy people who might tend to miss calls from their loved ones. It is a convenient way to leave your message and let them check it on a later time. But what will you do if you have accidentally deleted a voicemail on your iPhone

Mapped below is a more detailed procedure on how to retrieve those accidentally deleted voicemail. Feel free to read further for more details.

There is a way to recover a deleted voicemail off the iPhone, however to do you MUST have Visual Voicemail on your iPhone. If you use regular voicemail (dialing into your voicemail number) then you unfortunately can’t recover deleted voicemails.

To recover a voicemail deleted from Visual Voicemail:

    1. Open the Phone app and navigate to the “Voicemail” tab at the bottom of the screen.
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the list that contains your current messages, then tap on “Deleted Messages.” This option is only available if you have recently deleted a voicemail message. The length of time that deleted messages remain available varies by carrier.
    3. Here you’ll be able to view any messages that you have recently deleted. If you’d like to restore a message, make sure it’s selected and then tap on “Undelete.”

You can also permanently delete messages in this list by swiping them and tapping on “Delete.” Alternatively, you can tap on “Clear All” at the bottom of the screen to delete all of the messages in this list.

That covers the topic of this post. I hope that you found the needed information to retrieve those delete voicemail on your device.
