If you wish to hide your number from appearing on your outgoing calls, apple built-in a feature to do so through the iPhone 8 settings menu. Here is how you can hide your outgoing Caller ID on your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus:
- Go to Settings > Phone
- Tap on Show My Caller ID
- Turn OFF “Show My Caller ID”
You can now place outgoing calls and your number will be hidden as “Private Number”.
