If you wish to hide your number from appearing on your outgoing calls, apple built-in a feature to do so through the iPhone 8 settings menu. Here is how you can hide your outgoing Caller ID on your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus:
- Go to Settings > Phone
- Tap on Show My Caller ID
- Turn OFF “Show My Caller ID”
You can now place outgoing calls and your number will be hidden as “Private Number”.
To ensure that your phone number is already private, try to call your friend or a family member’s phone and asked if your number is hidden. If not, you can contact your network service provider for further assistance.
