Blocking text messages on Pixel 3 XL
To give you an overview, blocking text messages on smartphones actually don’t mean that they’re not received. Your phone can still receive those messages but they’re placed somewhere else and you wouldn’t be notified when upon receipt. So, here’s the easiest way to block a contact…
- Open the Messages app
- Tap the 3-dot menu button
- Tap on Blocked contacts
- Tap on Add a number
- Type a phone number you want to block
- Confirm by tapping Block
Another way to do this is by opening the Phone app and going to the call log. Then select a number you want to block from the history and that’s it.
After doing this thing, you will never be bothered by the number you blocked. If you want to unblock the number, then follow the same steps as above and remove the number from the block list.
