If you want to learn how to block calls on your Samsung Galaxy Note 8, simply access the Phone App and select Menu at the upper-right. Go to Settings > Block Numbers. At the Add Phone number field, enter the 10-digit phone number that you want to block and tap the Plus (+) sign located to the right of the field.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with a built-in feature to allow you to block incoming calls from specific numbers or unknown callers. You can simply enter the number you wish to block in your call settings. This will allow you to send those calls straight to voicemail without having to be bothered answering them.
However you do need to note that there isn’t a way to prevent a blocked caller from leaving a voicemail. The feature only allows you to block the call from ringing! To add a number to your reject list, follow the steps below:

- Tap on Block Numbers
- You can turn on “Block unknown callers” or add a specific number/contact
- When a contact is blocked they will be forward directly to your Voicemail. They can still leave you voicemail messages if they wish to.
