How-to
The BlackBerry Z10 comes with a feature that lets you block all incoming calls integrated into the BlackBerry10 OS, however it doesn’t include the ability to block specific numbers individually.
If you wish to block only a specific number, you will have to resort to third-party call blocking apps available on the BlackBerry World app store.
To block calls on your BlackBerry Z10:
- Open your Phone app and tap on Settings located in the top right (You can swipe downwards from the top of the screen to have the button appear).
- Tap on Call Blocking.
- You can then choose what you wish to block (Block All Incoming/Block All While Roaming…).
You can also choose to only allow calls from numbers in your Contact list. If you wish to block a specific number, then you can remove that number from your contact list and it will be blocked as well. Here’s how to use this method:
- Go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Parental Controls.
- Turn on Parental Controls and then you can select “Phone calls from contacts only”.
