Fix Apple iPhone 7 Plus Randomly Shutting Down

The #Apple #iPhone7Plus is a phone released last year that introduced many firsts for the company. For starters, like it or not, the 3.5mm audio port has now been completely removed from the phone. The hardware home button has also been replaced with a pressure sensitive home key with taptic engine. The good news is that this model is now waterproof and dust proof. It also comes with dual rear cameras that allows the phone owner to take creative photos. Although this is a solid phone there are instances when certain issues can occur which we will be addressing today. In this latest installment of our troubleshooting series we will tackle the iPhone 7 Plus randomly shutting down issue & other related problems.

Fix Apple iPhone 7 Plus Randomly Shutting Down

Problem: My iPhone has been randomly completely shutting down during use and restarting itself with no provocation for about the last three weeks. I bought it brand new from at&t in may. The battery has started draining faster in the last three weeks as well. Last night my phone went on low battery mode, I charged it overnight about two hours ago a screen popped up saying the battery was sufficiently charged and was at 100 percent battery. Approximately twenty minutes after that I had my phone sitting right next to me and all of a sudden my lock screen lights up without being touched and immediately after that the screen started going crazy and pixelating and kind of flashing in and out and then the phone just blacked out completely and will not turn back on, I have tried your troubleshooting instructions and soft reboot and it will not respond. I have never gotten my phone wet and I inspected the outside of the phone and there is no physical damage to the phone. I have only ever dropped it once but it was from only maybe two feet above the ground and on carpet. I have a case on it and a glass screen cover, they were on the phone when it dropped and that was two months ago.

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then restore the phone as a new device. Once this is done do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try to check first if the issue still occurs. If it does then this is most likely a hardware related problem already in which case you will need to bring the phone to AT&T or the nearest Apple Store and have it checked.

iPhone 7 Plus Stuck In Boot Loop After Replacing Charging Port And Screen

Problem: My brother just got a new charging port and screen and replaced the old ones, but when he turns it on it’s stuck on the boot loop. He put the old parts back in and still gets the boot loop still. Do you have any suggestions on how he can fix it.

Related Problem: I just replaced the screen on my iphone 7 plus and the screen was working good then it shut off and went to the apple logo and stays there then turns black then apple logo that’s all it does i tried the safe mode i tried the dfu mode and i even restored it but i doesn’t work i need help

Solution: Try restoring the phone using iTunes then check if the issue still occurs. If it does then you should try using the old cable for the proximity sensor and front camera as this cable is usually the culprit in issues such as this.

iPhone 7 Plus Distorted Volume During Calls

Problem: I am having distorted volume when talking on my iPhone 7 plus I didn’t know it until several people told me I thought it may be it was my Bluetooth devices & discarded the use of them But it is not Bluetooth related It does the same thing without device.

Solution: sometimes this issue is caused by the phone not getting a good signal from the network. Try checking if the phone is getting a good signal. You should also check if the issue occurs when you are in other locations.

In case the issue persists then try restoring your phone as a new device then immediately check if the issue still occurs. If it does then you will need to bring the phone to the nearest Apple Store and have it checked.
