How To Erase all data In Google Pixel 7

The factory reset will erase all your personal data that are saved in your phone’s local storage. But aside from that, it will also fix almost all software and app related problems you might be experiencing with your Pixel 7.

Estimate Cost : 0

Time Needed : 4 minutes

It’s the most effective troubleshooting procedure you can do if there are issues that you can’t just fix easily. The downside is that you will need to spend more time creating a backup of your data before you can actually do it.

But the procedure is easy to follow. Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Pull up the App drawer and tap Settings.

This opens the settings app that allows you to change some features and services in your device.

  2. Scroll down and tap System.

You will have to scroll all the way down to find that option.

  3. Scroll down again to find Reset options and once found, tap on it.

Such an option can be found last among the list of other options.

  4. Tap Erase all data (factory reset).

It’s the last option you can find.

  5. You may read the information on the screen and tap Erase all data at the bottom of the screen once ready.

If you’ve set up a security lock, it will prompt you to enter it to verify your identity.

  6. On the next screen, tap Erase all data.

Your phone will then initiate the reset process and reboots. You will have to wait for a minute or two before your device boots up and prompts you to set it up again.

At that point, you’ll know that it has been successfully reset.

So set it up and you may continue using it.

And that’s pretty much it!
