How to Enable Media Volume Limit on Galaxy Z Flip4

This post will walk you through activating an inbuilt volume feature on the newest Samsung Galaxy Flip smartphone that prompts the system to limit the volume coming out from the headphones or Bluetooth audio device that you used with your phone. Here’s a quick guide to enable media volume limit on Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4.

Estimate Cost : 0

Time Needed : 03 minutes

Performing these steps won’t affect any other settings on your device so there’s no need to worry about losing any customizations on any of the preloaded and downloaded applications.
Feel free to start whenever you’re all set to configure Sounds and vibration settings on your new Samsung Galaxy phone.

  1. To get started, tap the Settings icon from the Home screen or Apps screen.

Doing so launches the Settings app menu with all the default features and system functions.

  2. While in the Settings menu, find then tap Sounds and vibration.

Another menu opens with sound-related features and options.

  3. Find then tap Volume to continue.

The current volume settings will load up on the next screen.

  4. To continue, tap the three dots located on the top-right corner of the Volume screen.

Doing so opens a side menu with the Media volume limit option.

  5. On the following menu, tap Media volume limit.

The Media Volume limit screen opens next. Here, you will see the main controls to turn the feature off and on and a dedicated slider to adjust the volume limit.

  6. To activate the feature, tap to turn the OFF switch ON.

Switching it on will activate the media volume limit function of your phone, prompting the system to protect your ears from extremely loud sounds when using headphones and Bluetooth audio devices.

  7. To adjust the volume limit, just drag the slider beneath the Custom volume limit to the left or right.

Dragging the slider to the left decreases the limit and increases it when you drag the slider to the right.

  8. If you don't want any unauthorized changes on this setting, turn on the switch next to Set volume limit PIN.

Doing so allows you to put or set a unique PIN to protect the current setting.

  9. On the next window, tap Set volume limit PIN then enter at least 4 digits PIN on the pop-up window.

After creating the PIN tap Continue then follow the rest of the onscreen instructions.

Be sure to take note of your PIN so that you can easily make necessary changes to your media volume limit settings at any time.

Should you wish to disable this feature, just repeat the same steps to head back to the Media Volume limit menu where you can access the switch to turn the feature OFF again. If you’ve set a volume limit PIN, you will be asked to enter it to apply new settings changes.

And that’s it!
