In this tutorial, we will show you how to enable developer options on your Galaxy Note 20. While it may not be as important as other settings, there are some things you can change to improve how your device responds or works. Read on to learn more.
If you’re into tweaking your smartphone to unleash its full potential, then the Developer Options is what you’re looking for. It will give you access to some hidden settings that will be useful if you’re into app development, or if you want to give your device a little boost when gaming.
It will also allow you to speed up your phone’s animations to improve its responsiveness in executing tasks.
Time needed: 3 minutes.
There are other cool things you can do if the Developer Options is enabled. So here’s how you do it on your Galaxy Note 20:
- Launch the Settings app.
You may pull the notification panel down and tap the gear icon, or you can simply pull up the app drawer and tap Settings.
- Scroll all the way down and tap About phone.
The Developer Options is well-hidden that you have to go through a few steps before you can enable it.
- Tap Software information.
It’s native to Android that’s why you have to go through this setting.
- Tap Build number 7 times.
This is to make sure that it’s not enabled accidentally because there are settings that can affect your phone’s performance. You will then be prompted to enter your security lock. This is to confirm the identity of the person trying to enable the hidden setting.
- After that, the Developer Options will be enabled.
Another setting will be added just below About phone.
- So tap the Back key, and then scroll all the way down to find it.
Tap on it to enter, and enjoy tweaking!
