How to Auto-Lock Secure Folder on Galaxy Z Flip4

Once you’ve got the app set up, follow these steps to access and manage the Secure Folder settings to enable auto-lock.

  1. To get started, navigate to the Home screen or Apps screen then tap the Secure Folder app icon.



    If you don't see the Secure Folder icon on either screen, find then launch the Samsung Folder instead. 

    To access the folder, you will be prompted to enter the correct PIN, pattern or password. Be sure to provide the required credentials to access the folder.

  2. While in the Secure Folder app screen, tap on the three dots located on the top-right side.



    Doing so opens a side menu with a list of options to manage the app.

  3. Tap Settings from the given options to proceed.



    The Secure Folder settings menu will load up next.

  4. Find Auto lock Secure Folder then tap on it.



    On the succeeding window, you will see different conditions as to when you would like the Secure Folder app to auto lock.

  5. To auto lock Secure Folder instantly when you exit the app, tap to mark Each time I leave an app.



    Otherwise, choose any of the other options such as When screen turns off, After 5 minutes, After 10 minutes, After 30 minutes and When phone restarts.
