TikTok app is being used by a wide array of people, ranging from small teens to big adults. Though contents are designed to cater the general age range, it is inevitable that there are inappropriate videos or contents that could be accessed anywhere by your kids or children. If you want to ensure that your iPhone’s TikTok is family-oriented, activate and use family pairing on your app by reading further.
Using apps should be fun or entertaining and at the same time, safe for your kids to use. Being able to control and see what your kids are viewing online is a very convenient feature to have. Since different apps are now being used by all ages, including kids and young adults, a lot of features are being introduced to limit and control the things that they will see on these platforms.
TikTok’s new feature called family pairing allows the parents to link the account of their kids to their own account and they will be able to control stuff such as disable direct messages, turn on restricted mode, and set screen time limits. This feature is different from parental controls as parental locks only manage the contents of what your kids will see on their feed.
Family pairing has a larger scope that lets you even turn features off and on remotely. If you want to know how to activate or use Family Pairing on your iPhone’s TikTok app, feel free to follow the steps that are listed below.
Before performing the steps, make sure to use two different phones. Ready your own phone with your TikTok account and your kids phone with their TikTok account.
