No service on Samsung Galaxy s5, Samsung Galaxy note 4, note 4 edge, samsung grand prime. Unable to place calls or text. Getting “Emergency calls only”. No network connection available on Samsung Galaxy S5.
Here are a couple things you can try to fix this issue:
- Power off your device completely, then power it back on
- Go to Settings > More Networks… > Mobile Networks
Tap on Network Mode. Make sure the top (auto connect) option is selected.
Then select Network operators and tap Search networks.
Once the search is complete, select your Carrier. Test your device.
- Turn off your smartphone. Open the back and pull the battery and sim card out. Wipe the Sim card with a clean dry cloth and insert them back, then power on your device.
- If you are getting a SIM error or are unable to connect to your Carrier, contact your network provider.
